Search Tools & Filters

There is a wide range of tools and filters you can use within the Housing Search to help you find the best options for your needs.

Filters

Use the filters near the top of the page to narrow your search. Select More on the top-right side to apply advanced search filters, and then select Done.

You can also Search by Property Name using the drop-down located in the top-left corner.

Search by Campus or Location

• Select the Campus or Location drop-down located in the top-left corner
• Choose the option by which you'd like to filter your search

If you don't see the area you are looking for in the drop-down, you can also search geographically by zooming in on the location on the map.

Map-Based Search Tools

Drag the map to your desired search area. All listings within the map view will appear in the listing feed to the right.

• Hover over a blue dot on the map to view the corresponding listing details.
• Hover over a listing on the right-hand side to locate its position on the map.

Map Tools

Select Map Tools in the top-right corner to view nearby restaurants, shopping, transit options, and more.

Draw

Utilize the Draw tool in the top-left corner to create your own, custom search radius on the map.

• Click Draw again to remove your custom radius.

Favorites

Add a property to your Saved Rentals list by selecting the heart icon on the listing's placard (or on the top-right corner of the listing details page).

Favorited listings will eventually reset. To save a listing permanently, you can email the property, and it will be added to your list of contacted properties in My Housing Search.

My Housing Search

To view your previously contacted rental properties, go to My Housing Search under Account Settings.

Click on a property to view the full listing and check for updates on pricing and availability.

Use the tags at the bottom of each property to label a listing as Preferred, Not Interested, or No Longer Available:

Searching on Mobile Devices

1. Search for rental listings on your smartphone or tablet by visiting the Housing search page in your browser.
2. Select the Filter dropdown menu near the top of the page to apply any filters you'd like to apply, and then press Done on the bottom-right.
3. Toggle between List View and Map View by tapping the option in the top-left corner. The listings visible within the set Map View will correspond with those in the List View.
